We thank God that once again, despite the terrible virus spreading that didn’t spare any person, rich or poor, of any gender or race and caused a long interruption in holding congresses. With the help of scientists from around the world, we were able to hold the 16^th International Congress of Surgery and Minimally Invasive Techniques (MISTIC) from the 26th to the 28th of February 2022 in the Razi Conference Hall of Iran University of Medical Sciences.

The National Center of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Surgery in the country, with interest and authority, and relying on the knowledge and experience gained in previous years, and using new technologies and establishing international relations with famous surgeons in this field, hold this conference virtually and in-person, and invites all physicians, scientists, and enthusiasts to this specialized field and warmly honor their presence.
